‘Steven Universe’ season 7: Will there be a new installment? Here’s what we know

“Steven Universe” season 7 is one of those highly-anticipated shows even though it only ended two months ago. Fans want confirmation if there will be a new installment, but sadly, Cartoon Network is still silent about it.

Show renewal is something that fans want to hear every time their favorite show is ending, and this is the same case with this animation. Its followers want “Steven Universe” season 7 to be renewed, but the announcement has yet to come.

The chances for new episodes order

When the show returned after the fifth installment, it was presented not as season 6, but it arrived with a new title which was “Steven Universe Future.” now, there is a bit of confusion because fans don’t exactly know if they should wait for the second season of the Future title or wait for “Steven Universe” season 7.

There is a theory that “Steven Universe Future” season 2 is not happening anymore since it was only created to serve as an epilogue to season 5. On the other hand, there are more chances for “Steven Universe” season 7 to happen because it can easily present new stories about the protagonist, unlike in the “Future,” where they merely clarified things that happened in the previous season.

Show creator’s assurance

Moreover, show creator Rebecca Sugar already assured fans that there will be more episodes to come. So it can be assumed that “Steven Universe” season 7 will be around at some point. The show is not yet renewed but Sugar mentioned in the past that they are working and preparing for more series installments.

“I can’t say much yet, but there will be more,” the show creator told Comic Book. “There is one more big thing that I really want to say and that's coming up.”

Then again, fans still need to wait to know what Sugar and her team are planning for the next “Steven Universe” shows. She went on to advise the followers of the animation to watch the movie, previous episodes, and everything else related so they can better enjoy what is coming up next.

“I'm trying to think of what I can say,” she went on to say. “Just please keep watching including the events of the show and the events of the movie as they all matter.”
