“Supernatural” season 14 episode 4 appears to be the official Halloween special of the show this year. Dean (Jensen Ackles) continues to struggle after Michael leaves his body. At the same time, he and Sam (Jared Padalecki) need to do something about all the Halloween figures coming to life next week.
The promo for “Supernatural” season 14 episode 4 begins with Dean revering a life-size and very realistic action figure that would win any Halloween costume contest. Unfortunately, this will also cause them their main problem in the next episode.
Dean warns someone over the phone about an approaching henchman while the creepy action figure, with an ax in each hand, is alive and roaming around a residential area. There is no doubt that the once lifeless object will give Sam and Dean their mini horror story in “Supernatural” season 14 episode 4.
The “Supernatural” season 14 episode 4 preview does not show whether the alive action figure is going to kill somebody. But it will surely attack people, including Dean, who barely avoids a chainsaw flying toward his face.
Sam and Dean will most likely put an end to this horror before the Halloween special concludes. But the “Supernatural” season 14 episode 4 teaser reveals that a much deeper problem will be seen in the next episode that concerns Dean.
It is important to note that what fans will see in “Supernatural” season 14 episode 4 is the real Dean. Executive producer Andrew Dabb confirmed to TV Guide that Michael has officially left Dean’s body.
Prior to “Supernatural” season 14 episode 4, Dean and the others started picking up more details that they hoped would explain Michael’s next moves. Unfortunately, they only gathered more mysteries.

When Dean came back, he had no complete recollection of what had happened since he got possessed. Among all the protagonists, he was obviously the most eager one to find answers, especially after he found a mysterious scar on his body. And since the “Supernatural” season 14 episode 4 teaser mentions that Dean is still struggling, the viewers will most likely find them continuing their investigation into the biggest dilemma they have this season.
Dean and Sam may not have all the answers yet but Dabb confirmed that Michael will return in a “big and cool way.” “Supernatural” season 14 episode 4 will air on Thursday, Nov. 1, 8 p.m. ET on The CW.
