The much-awaited “Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld” episode 20 is finally coming up next. Fans are excited to see this because Kirito has finally woken up and back in action. He is ready to defend his friends and loved ones who were battered by the villains.

In the "Sword Art Online: Alicization War Of Underworld" episode 19 titled “Awakening," the story picked up from the conclusion of the 18th episode. It was the time when Kirito is finally conscious and woke up from his long, deep sleep.
His arrival also happened at the perfect timing because that was the moment when everyone needed him most. The Underworld is facing the greatest villains, and even with the abilities of Asuna and the others, they can’t seem to beat the bad guys.
Previously, Asuna fought with Vassago but he proved to be too powerful for her. Even the best fighters from the human empire can’t do anything and most of them were even injured or have died instead like Bercouli.
Now, as Asuna fights with Vassago, Kirito suddenly became conscious and when he stood up, the villain shouted that he has been waiting for years to battle him and now the time has come.
But then again, Kirito is still not in his 100 percent so he is a bit at a disadvantage against a powerful opponent, but fortunately, Eugeo’s spirit appeared to guide and help him.
With Eugeo's spirit by his side, the first thing that they did together was to forcibly log out all the Red Army players so they can leave the Underworld. Then Kirito fights Vasaggo with Eugeo’s sword. Later, he got hold of his sword and used its power fo to transform him into a Demon Tree in the "Sword Art Online: Alicization War Of Underworld" episode 19.
Moreover, Kirito and Asuna set out to the World End’s Altar to find and save Alice. As this is happening, Kikuoka Seijirou warns him and Asuna that they need to log out through the World End's Altar or they will remain trapped in the UW forever.
Spoilers and release date
"Sword Art Online: Alicization War Of Underworld" episode 20 will show Kirito and Asuna arriving at the World End’s Altar. They will face Miller and apparently, they will save Alice and defeat Miller.
Kirito will be preparing for his second fight after beating Vassago in the UW. "Sword Art Online: Alicization War Of Underworld" episode 20 will show him meeting Subtilizer, the new avatar of Vecta or Gabriel.
The upcoming episode will also show if Kirito and Asuna are able to reach the console and log out as instructed by Kikouka. If he dies, he will be stuck in the UW for a really long time. Meanwhile, the “Sword Art Online: Alicization - War of Underworld” episode 20 called "The Night-Sky Blade” is set to be released on Aug. 29.
