“The Bachelor 2019” has been announced and Colton Underwood was named as the next guy who will search for his new love through the show. The former NFL player agreed to be the new bachelor in the 23rd season of the popular, sometimes controversial, dating reality TV series.
ABC revealed the identity of the new bachelor in early September and many were surprised because, at that time, he was just sent home from “The Bachelorette” season 14. Additionally, prior to “Bachelor 2019” the 26-year-old also appeared in "Bachelor in Paradise" but it also ended with no good results.
Thus, Colton Underwood hopes that his season in “The Bachelor” will end with his genuine proposal to his future wife. In any case, although “Bachelor 2019” is not yet on air, TV reality expert, Reality Steve, dropped some major spoilers and it was about the final four candidates.
On Oct. 26, Reality Steve shared that Colton Underwood’s girls were already reduced to four and they are set to have one-on-one dates to get to know each other more. Based on his tweet, those who were left to compete for “The Bachelor” 2019’s final rose are Hannah Godwin, Caelynn Miller-Keyes, Cassie Randolph and Tayshia Adams.
Colton Underwood will visit each of the women’s home base for their personal dates. This means that the bachelor will be in Birmingham for a date with Hannah, then he will go to Virginia with Caelynn and finally spend time with Cassie and Tayshia in their respective Californian hometowns.
After the hometown dates, one of the women is expected to be eliminated in “The Bachelor 2019” and the final stage of the dating competition will commence. A total of 30 women competed for a spot to be Colton Underwood’s girl and now it is down to four.
It was reported that the filming for “The Bachelor” season 23 will wrap up in November so it means that by this time, the bachelor has already chosen his final two. They are probably in Spain now to film the finale and it is interesting to see who would receive Colton’s final rose.
Meanwhile, “The Bachelor 2019” is set to premiere on Jan. 7, 2019 at 8 p.m. on ABC.
