However, things don’t go exactly as planned since Howard (Simon Helberg) steals Mr. Fowler (Raymond Joseph Teller). This leaves the physicist with no choice but to hang out with Mrs. Fowler (Kathy Bates) instead.

Upon arriving at the comic book store, they meet Howard who then shows off his magic tricks. It would seem that the older gentleman is easily impressed and is thus enraptured by further illusions.
