“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 has been confirmed. Along with other shows like “Truck Night in America,” “Alone,” “Mountain Men” and Swamp People,” History also revived “Ax Men,” which was canceled in 2016.
According to Deadline, the renewal of “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 was announced this week. It was added that the show has been ordered to do a total of 30 episodes for this season.
While the confirmation of its renewal came a bit late, brothers Rick and Marty Lagina have already prepared for the coming installment a few months ago. In fact, they were often spotted on Oak Island and it was reported that work around the location had started already.
Photos of activities on the famous Nova Scotia island are making the rounds online and these are probably the best spoilers that were ever shared prior to “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 premiere. The snaps mainly came from a reliable source since she is someone who lives just across the filming site.
Karen Publicover, a local resident, often updates her Facebook page called “Oak Island from the Other Side of the Causeway” with photos of what is going on on the island. Many of her posts revealed the ongoing excavations and other preparations for the exploration that will be shown in “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6.
Her latest update revealed swamp works in Smith's Cove. She also disclosed that the cofferdam, a structure built to enclose an area for excavation of foundation, is still in place.

The Lagina brothers are expected to share more about their previous and new discoveries. It is highly likely that the ancient cross that they dug up in season 5 is going to be one of the main topics in the upcoming installment since it is being linked to the Knights Templar.
Finally, as per History, “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 is debuting on Nov. 13 at 9 p.m.
