SANTA MONICA, Calif., Feb. 14, 2018 -- The Other Art Fair (TOAF), the U.K.’s leading art fair for discovering emerging artists, announces its 2018 exhibition calendar with plans to introduce fairs in two new U.S. cities, Los Angeles and Chicago. With the addition of these new markets, The Other Art Fair will increase its presence to five fairs in the U.S. in 2018, with plans to add additional cities to the roster in 2019.
The Other Art Fair continues to support the work of emerging artists and gives a new generation of art collectors a rare opportunity to meet artists in person. Artists exhibiting at each fair are selected by a committee of experts and curators, ensuring that visitors are able to discover the most promising emerging talent from across the globe.
“From its humble beginnings in a warehouse in London back in 2011, The Other Art Fair has now grown to position itself as the world’s leading art fair for buying directly from artists. 2018 will be a monumental year with the fair expanding into two new cities, Los Angeles and Chicago, which means we will be hosting 10 fairs in 2018,” said founder Ryan Stanier. “This incredible growth has only been possible because of the fantastic artists we work with and the involvement of many supportive sponsors. We will continue to offer immersive and engaging experiences so that visiting each of our fairs will be challenging, thought-provoking and most importantly enjoyable.”
