PASADENA, Calif., Dec. 20, 2017 -- Beginning Friday, December 29th, 2017 through the afternoon of Sunday, December 31st the US Air Force, NASA, JPL and a number of other space agencies and aeronautical companies will host an incredible exhibit celebrating the history of the US Space Program with interactive displays, guest speakers and more. Visitors will have the opportunity to see a 40 ft. USAF missile, learn about our communication and defense satellite networks, discover what we are doing to clean up our space debris and share how the US Space Program has impacted everyone’s everyday existence from cell phone cameras to memory foam mattresses.

This FREE family festival takes place at the Pasadena Convention Center celebrating the iconic Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game and will include activities, entertainment and attractions for the entire family. Everyone will enjoy the Celebrate the Extraordinary Pavilion with the display of the 129-year history of the iconic Rose Parade, enjoy the priceless Parade memorabilia, meet a former Rose Queen and be able to watch celebrated Rose Bowl Games from decades past. Be sure to climb into the driver’s seat of the Live on Green! float on display at the entrance to Live on Green! and learn just how difficult it is to steer a 40,000 lb. decorated “floral masterpiece” 5.5 miles down Colorado Boulevard.
Foodies can stroll over to the Culinary Cues Stage and see celebrity chefs, including Chef Jamie Gwen and renowned mixologists as they entertain and enlighten the crowd, making entertaining and every day dishes special with delicious hacks and ideas.
At the Let Us Entertain You Stage hosted by The Paseo and The Coaches’ Challenge Family Fun Zone kids of all ages can enjoy the inflatable obstacle course and giant slide, soccer kick area, basketball free throw, football toss, toddler play area, face painting, balloon twisting, crafts and more!
Pasadena, Calif. is already synonymous with celebrating the New Year and now at Live on Green! everyone can start the party early with fun-filled days of discovery, entertainment and food starting at 10:00 a.m. on December 29th and 30th and running until 6:00 p.m. on December 31st from noon to 4:00 p.m.
