David Beckham may have accidentally landed himself in hot water with his wife after he said marriage with Victoria is “hard work” in an interview “The Sunday Project.”According to Life & Style magazine, the former Spice Girl got angry with David after she heard the remark and now the couple is experiencing major issues in their marriage.
The celebrity magazine says that the couple is now living separately and divorce is imminent, but Gossip Cop has reported that none of this is true. In fact, Victoria has recently said they don’t listen to the rumors surrounding their relationship.
"People have been making things up about our relationship for 20 years, so David and I are pretty used to ignoring the nonsense and just carrying on as normal. But these things have a wider effect on the people around us, and that’s unfair," Victoria said in an interview with British Vogue.
In the interview, Victoria also acknowledged that they are stronger together. “Would either of us be in the position that we are in now had we not met and been together all those years ago? It’s all about the family unit," she added.
At any rate, what David Beckham said about marriage being hard work is true. So why should Victoria be mad at her husband for saying that? Marriage is about compromise and sacrifice, and people don’t get to do what they want all the time. Being away from each other is hard also, and right now, David will likely have to travel back and forth to Miami as he continues to push forward the plans for his MLS expansion club.
Right now, Victoria and David Beckham are just like any couple that has been together for 20 years. It’s not easy to damage their relationship because they have already been through a lot.
