“Westworld” season 3 will happen for sure and many spoilers have given hints as to what the next installment will look like. Showrunners Lisa Joy and Jonathan Nolan already confirmed that its plot will be very different from the first two seasons and they described the drastic change as “radical shift.”
Season 2’s finale showed robot revolutionaries Bernard (Jeffrey Wright) and Dolores (Evan Rachel Wood) escaping the theme park and finally stepping out into the real world. However, they are now considered enemies so it is interesting to see how their next story will unfold.
With Bernard and Dolores’s escape from the Westworld-themed park, they are expected to work on preserving the race in “Westworld” season 3. Naturally, since they are rivals now, they will do it separately and in their own ways.
With the new setting, the characters will explore the uncharted territory and many things can happen.
“You couldn't expect human characters to withstand and survive the kind of story that we're telling,” Nolan previously told The Hollywood Reporter. “The hosts have a different version of mortality, a different outlook. They're existential. They span eons. And that's a fascinating level of story to engage in.”
Meanwhile, apart from the new plot, “Westworld” season 3 is also welcoming a new cast member. Former “Breaking Bad” actor Aaron Paul is joining the series as a regular, Deadline reported. Since his role was not mentioned, it has yet to be seen if he will play a human or a host.

With his addition in “Westworld” season 3, what do the veteran regulars think? How do they feel about it? Ed Harris, Jeffrey Wright, and Ben Barnes gave a piece of their minds and here are what they said:
“I think it’s great,” Harris told Us Weekly. “He’s a wonderful actor, cool guy, so I’m not sure what his character will be, but the more, the better.”
For Wright, he playfully welcomed the “Breaking Bad” alum by saying, “If you slap me your email address, I’ll send you the first script.” And lastly, Barnes said, “It just got very exciting, very exciting. I love 'Breaking Bad' and, you know, I’ve met Aaron a few times and I think he’d be such an exciting addition.”
