Gerda Zigiene is a professor of finance at Kaunas University of Technology in Lithuania and visiting professor at IMD business school in Switzerland. Her PhD was in economics and she has expertise in financial economics and public finance. She has published research papers on public finance in Lithuania and how Lithuanian companies manage their finances. She was previously at Vilnius University and Chair of Economic Theory and Economic History at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland.
