Lecturer and Researcher in International Business, Sheffield Hallam University
I have more than 19 years of international experience working in across the petroleum and energy industry, in consultancy, and in higher education. I have a long-standing professional and academic record in international business, business management, and business finance. My experience has come from a variety of large, medium, and small-sized portfolio entities across 4 continents.
Professionally, my expertise is centred around organisational management and international business start-ups, joint ventures management, and corporate financial management. I am also experienced in governance and controls planning and implementation, ERPs transformation projects, business contractual agreements (PSCs), and joint operating agreements (JOAs). This experience has been gained through working in the oil and energy industry in various senior executive positions.
My academic record has been based around my profound research interest in the areas of international business, equity and non-equity joint ventures, petroleum industry economics, as well as business performance management. In addition, my academic interests have benefited from my work in higher education — lecturing on various modules in international business and business operations.
