I am the Department Head of the Emergency Medical Care & Rescue at the Durban University of Technology where we train advanced life support paramedics.
I am also the department postgraduate co-ordinator and my research interests focus on academic success among paramedic students and how certain practices such as patient simulations influence academic success on the degree programme.
