Chris Maylea is a Senior Lecturer at RMIT University, an experienced mental health social worker and practising lawyer. He is the Chair of the Victorian Mental Illness Awareness Council (VMIAC) and the author over 40 peer reviewed publications and reports, as well as Law for Social Work, published by Macmillan in 2020. Chris has managed mental health services and researched extensively in the area of mental health law.
