I am professor of history and director of the Canadian Studies Program at Bridgewater State University in Massachusetts, where I have been teaching classes in Canadian and United States history since 1996. I am the author / editor of five books and several scholarly articles and reviews. In October 2020, my book A Hotly Contested Affair: Hockey in Canada will be published by The Champlain Society and University of Toronto Press.
