University Associate, University of Tasmania
I completed my PhD with the Institute of Marine and Antarctic Studies, studying how conservation can be planned into how we manage our research stations' footprint in Antarctica. I have a background in conservation, land management, and eco-tourism, working full time as a national park Ranger before research. From this experience, I have visited Casey and Davis Stations, and Commonwealth Bay (Mawson's Huts) in Antarctica, as well as the Subantarctic Heard, Macquarie, Campbell and Auckland Islands.
I also manage Southern Tasmania's Search and Rescue Team for the State Emergency Service.
