Dr. Zhuo (Joe) Zhong joined the Department of Finance, University of Melbourne, in 2014. He obtained his Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University.
His research interest includes Market Microstructure, Asset Pricing, and Big Data. Dr. Zhong's research has been accepted to top tier finance journals and conferences such as the Review of Financial Studies, Journal of Financial Economics, and the American Finance Association Annual Meeting, and has been awarded one prestigious international prize (the best paper of the 2017 Northern Finance Association Meeting).
