NHMRC Senior Lecturer, School of Medical Sciences, UNSW
Lindsay Wu is an NHMRC senior lecturer in the School of Medical Sciences at UNSW Australia, where his lab is developing new molecules to treat biological ageing to extend lifespan. Although the ultimate goal of his research is to prevent ageing, the molecules being developed in the lab can be used to treat a range of age-related diseases, and he actively studies metabolic disorders (e.g. type II diabetes), female infertility, muscle function and frailty, cancer, and the side effects of chemotherapy.
