I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management in the Spears School of Business at Oklahoma State University. My academic scholarship is focused on legal and regulatory issues in the sports industry. I have authored more than 45 academic articles on policy and regulation of the sports industry.
I have also testified and submitted written recommendations regarding the legalization of sports betting and daily fantasy sports on the state and national levels. I also filed two Amicus Curiae briefs in the Murphy v. NCAA case at the Supreme Court.
I have been quoted in a variety of news outlets ranging from USA Today and the Wall Street Journal to Bloomberg and NPR.
I am a licensed attorney in the state of Florida. I earned my Ph.D. from Florida State University, my LL.B. from the University of Ottawa, and my J.D. from Michigan State University.
