Senior Lecturer in Economics and Finance, Cardiff Metropolitan University
Dr Aminu is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a macroeconomist who received his PhD from Cardiff University. He also holds a Master of Science degree in Economics and in International Economics, Banking and Finance.
He joined Cardiff School of Management at the beginning of 2015/16 session. He is currently the School's research ethics coordinator. Since joining this University he has taught a variety of modules at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He currently teaches Macroeconomics and Public Policy. Prior to this he worked as a Teaching Associate at Cardiff University where he still works as a part time Lecturer.
His research interests include macroeconomic policies, energy prices, financial markets, and economics education.
