J-C Couture is an adjunct colleague and instructor with the Faculty of Education, University of Alberta, and the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education. Previously he coordinated the research program for the Alberta Teachers' Association (2000-2018) which led to his continued efforts to build strategic foresight in education organizations. Formerly a Research Fellow, Manchester Metropolitan University, he is active in a number of international projects that include the development of graduate courses dedicated to mobilizing the transdisciplinary scholarship in educational futures applied to teacher organizations, school leadership, curriculum renewal and assessment.
