Edwina Preston is a PhD candidate in the School of Culture and Communication, Melbourne University. She is the recipient of a Dean's Research Excellence Scholarship, the Felix Meyer Scholarship 2020, and the Helen Macpherson Smith Trust Scholarship for female research 2020. She is the author of three books, Not Just a Suburban Boy (Duffy and Snellgrove 2002) and The Inheritance of Ivorie Hammer (UQP 2012) and Bad Art Mother (Wakefield Press 2022). Her work has been published in The Age, Australian, Heat, Griffith Review, and elsewhere.
