M.A. Candidate, Faculty of Education, Simon Fraser University
I am currently pursuing an M.A. degree in Curriculum and Instruction Foundations, while working as a teaching assistant and research assistant. My research interests centre around elucidating and negotiating the complexities of identity development within the tertiary educational context.
My interdisciplinary work as a research assistant has contributed to presentations at the American Educational Research Association (AERA) and the History of Science Society (HSS), as well as to a major, multi-institutional Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SHHRC) grant examining the practicum. I am co-author of a chapter in the book "The Curriculum History of Canadian Teacher Education" (Routledge, 2017).
