I am an academic tutor and lecturer at the Gold Coast campus at Southern Cross University. I teach research methodologies, statistics, psychology and sociology. I have a Bachelor of Psychological Science Honours and am currently undertaking a health and human sciences PhD also at Southern Cross University. My topic is 'How a dietary pattern high in processed and sugary foods contributes to the symptoms of depression and how a dietary pattern rich in fresh wholefoods is protective against the symptoms of depression'. My current manuscript "Striving for the thin ideal post-pregnancy: A study of dieting vs non-dieting and psychological well being in post-partum women is under review for publication with the Journal of Health Psychology.
