Jacqueline Best is Professor of Political Studies at the University of Ottawa. She is a researcher and educator working at the intersection of international relations, political economy and social theory. She has recently published Governing Failure: Provisional Expertise and the Transformation of Global Development Finance, and The Return of the Public in Global Governance, co-edited with Alexandra Gheciu, both appearing with Cambridge University Press. She coordinates the International Political Economy Network at the University of Ottawa and is an editor of the Review of International Political Economy journal.
