‘iZombie’ Season 3, Episode 5 Spoilers: “Spanking the Zombie” – Liv’s New Dominatrix Personality Makes Colleagues Uncomfortable; Peyton, Blaine Explore Relationship

‘iZombie’ season 3’s episode 5, titled “Spanking the Zombie,” will follow Liv as she takes on a new dominatrix personality after consuming the victim’s brains during the investigation. Unfortunately, her new persona will make her colleagues uncomfortable. Meanwhile, Peyton and Blaine are set to explore their relationship further.

The synopsis for “Spanking the Zombie” posted on TV Guide reads, “Liv (Rose McIver) consumes the brains of a dominatrix, and her bossy and controlling personality makes everyone a little uncomfortable, especially Clive (Malcolm Goodwin). Meanwhile, Blaine (David Anders) and Peyton (Alyson Michalka) have a heart-to-heart talk.”

The upcoming episode is set to feature Liv taking on the personality of a dominatrix after she consumes the brain of the latest murder victim during the investigation. It seems that her new persona will get all her colleagues at the workplace quite uncomfortable, especially Clive.

The promo opens to Liv holding up a leather mask that may have been used by the dominatrix. When Live refuses to ingest the deceased’s brain, Ravi (Rahul Kohli) reassures her that her possible personality change won’t be very noticeable.

Unfortunately for Ravi, Major (Robert Buckley), and Clive, Liv’s new persona takes over the entire office. She starts dressing in provocative black clothes, carries a whip everywhere, and talks in innuendos. Her colleagues are clearly left in uneasiness and embarrassment.

Meanwhile, according to Comicbook Movie, Peyton and Blaine’s relationship will continue to develop further as the two will find themselves engaged in a heart-to-heart conversation in the upcoming episode. The two are set to explore their relationship further.

‘iZombie’ season 3’s episode 5, titled “Spanking the Zombie,” is scheduled to air on The CW on May 2, 2017. It was directed by Tessa Blake and written by Sara Saedi. It will be followed by episode 6, titled "Some Like it Hot Mess," directed by Rico Colantoni and scheduled to be released on May 9.
