이탈리아가 우크라이나에 또 다른 Samp-T 미사일 방어 시스템을 지원할 예정이라고 안토니오 타야니 외무장관이 목요일 밝혔다. 그는 그러나 러시아와의 전쟁에 휘말리지 않도록 주의해야 한다고 강조했다.
타야니 장관은 Radio 24와의 인터뷰에서 "우리는 병원, 학교, 대학교를 보호하기 위해 새로운 Samp-T 미사일 방어 시스템을 러시아의 공격을 받은 이 나라(우크라이나)에 보낼 것"이라고 말했다.
그는 이어 "우크라이나를 방어하는 것이 세계 대전을 일으킨다는 의미는 아니다... 우리는 우크라이나를 돕고 있으며, 공정한 평화에 도달해야 한다"고 덧붙였다.
