“13 Reasons Why” season 3 was renewed last year, and the announcement from Netflix came just three weeks after the second installment started airing. As posted, it will offer 13 episodes and Selena Gomez will remain as one of its executive producers.

While “13 Reasons Why” season 2 picked up after the death of Hannah and Liberty High was going to the court for the incident. Clay Jensen (Dylan Minnette) is also doing his best to find out what really happened to his classmate. They are about to discover a cover-up and conspiracy is likely involved too.

Plot Theories

When “13 Reasons Why” season 3 returns, it will probably continue with a plot twist. Season 2’s finale showed Tyler with a gun, and he appears ready to shoot anyone. Clay Jensen was able to come to him before he could use his weapon and cause harm. He was able to take the gun from Tyler after calming him down. However, the police will arrive with the weapon in Clay’s hands, and this may land him in trouble since Tyler already left the scene.

Bryce, who was given 3-month probation for raping Jessica, will suffer a bit because he feels the punishment is too much for him. Another theory for “13 Reasons Why” season 3 is that Bryce’s girlfriend Chloe may go through abortion since the situation is hard for her to deal with.

Cast Exit

It was confirmed that Katherine Langford is not returning to reprise her role in “13 Reasons Why” season 3. Her character has died in the first season, but she was able to return last season, but this time, she will be leaving for good. The actress is expanding her career by taking in new projects and gaining more experiences in the field.

“13 Reasons Why” has no premiere date yet but filming has already concluded as hinted by Dylan Minnette in January. The cast and crew have been shooting in West Sonoma County High School since last year.
