PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y., Sept. 16, 2016 -- ACETO Corporation (NASDAQ:ACET), an international company engaged in the development, marketing, sale and distribution of Human Health products, Pharmaceutical Ingredients and Performance Chemicals, today announced that Rising Pharmaceuticals, Inc., its finished dosage form generics subsidiary, is launching Fluocinolone Acetonide OTIC Oil, 0.01%, an FDA approved generic version of Hill Dermaceuticals Inc.’s DermOtic®.
According to IMS Health data, U.S. market sales for Fluocinolone Acetonide OTIC Oil, which is used in the treatment of chronic eczematous external otitis, were approximately $30.3 million for the twelve months ended July 31, 2016.
