Acacia Communications’ CEO and Founders Named EY Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2017 in New England

MAYNARD, Mass., June 28, 2017 -- Acacia Communications, Inc. (NASDAQ:ACIA), a leading provider of high-speed coherent optical interconnect products, today announced that the Company’s President and Chief Executive Officer, Raj Shanmugaraj, and Founders Benny P. Mikkelsen, Mehrdad Givehchi and Christian J. Rasmussen have been named EY Entrepreneurs of the Year® in Network Infrastructure and Security in the New England region.  This award recognizes local entrepreneurs who excel in areas such as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities. The winners were selected by an independent panel of judges, and the award was presented at a special gala event at the Marriott Copley Place in Boston on June 27, 2017.
