Major tennis apparel companies Adidas, Fila, Nike, and Asics have unveiled outfits designed to help their players feel good and perform at their best at the Wimbledon 2022.
The figure-flattering silhouettes are made with sophisticated textures and technologically-advanced materials.
Iga Swiatek, the world's No. 1 player, will wear a crew-neck, short-sleeve top, and a slightly pleated skirt, according to Asics.
Karolina Pliskova and Barbora Krejcikova, two Fila athletes, will introduce the newest iteration of the White Line collection, which is distinguished by vintage performance rib insert detailing and pinstripe lines.
The Fila White Line Dress has a ribbed fabric underlay and an asymmetrical crossover layer. Additionally, the neckline has a ribbed insert.
Players can also pair the Fila White Line Skirt with one of three tops: the Fila White Line Short-Sleeve Top with Shoulder and Side-Panel Insert Details and a Curved Hem; the Fila White Line Racerback Tank with Drop-Needle Stripe Details at the Sides; or the Fila White Line Full Coverage Tank with Pinstripe Print on Front, Body, and Back Panels.
The newest Speedserve Energized model or the most recent white and navy colorway of the Axilus 2 Energized will be worn by the Fila women.
Through a partnership with Parley for the Oceans, Adidas continues its effort to end plastic waste. Every piece of clothing in Adidas’ London Tennis collection is made in part from recycled coastal plastic, keeping it out of the ocean.
Elena Rybakina will wear an Adidas Parley London Dress with an ergonomic Y-strap, a yellow stripe accent at the front neckline, and laser-cut details.
The collection, marked by a combined adidas/Parley logo, also includes the Adidas Parley London Crop Tank, a racer-front design with an integrated bra and crossed back straps, and the Adidas Parley London Short, a high-waisted silhouette with an elastic waistband and two pleats in the front.
Both have subtle Morse code-inspired textures in the fabric equipped with moisture-absorbing AEROREADY technology.
The Nike London collection, which features zippers, pleats, and mesh insets, is anticipated to be unveiled by Simona Halep, Petra Kvitova, Emma Raducanu, Paula Badosa, Sloane Stephens, Belinda Bencic, and other NikeCourt representatives.
The Nike London Slam Dress has vertical seaming that resembles a corset, short sleeves and mesh on the upper chest and back. Meanwhile, the built-in shortie, elastic waistband, micro-pleated layers, and curved hem of the Nike London Slam Skirt are all included.
Standard mesh insets are present at the sides and lower back of the Nike London Slam Tank to improve ventilation. For added ventilation, two zippers on the shoulders can be opened or left closed.
