YSP’s design team created multi-sensory ‘phygital’ installations at Adidas’ Sanlitun global flagship store in Beijing, China for an entertaining yet inclusive experience and a new identity.
The design is a result of YSP’s efforts to lure consumers back to Adidas’ physical stores.
The phygital installations provide an immersive and interactive bridge between past and present virtual and physical realities for an exhibition-like experience.
The installations include a giant interactive cube with a lottery to buy limited-edition products, a digital sound garden where visitors can dance with avatars in their music video, and a digital art exhibition connecting virtual and offline communities.
The multimedia Sound Garden experience invites visitors to create a personalized music video with a focus on Adidas’ urban culture through a comprehensive sensory experience.
Meanwhile, the Talk of the Town digital art display connects Adidas’ online communities and offline activities.
Walls of screens with interactive AR experiences of the gallery exhibition activate all the map mark-ups to highlight where Adidas activities are happening in Beijing.
Visitors can explore the map and find an activity to join.
