Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are legally single now after more than two years of separation and legal battle over divorce and child custody. In recent months, the former husband and wife have been exhibiting good relationship. Their relationship improved after the court handed down some rules that they must follow in their child custody case, and apparently, both sides want what‘s the best for their kids, so they are now amicable.
Likewise, the nasty fight brought about by their child custody battle last year hurt both Angelina and Brad but fortunately, that scenario came to past, and all is well now. However, a report from Australia’s Woman’s Day made it appear that the tension is back with the “Maleficent” actress trying to snatch away some time that their kids have to spend with their dad.
The magazine alleged that Angelina Jolie took their children with her and flew to New Mexico where she set up a new home for them. Brad Pitt was said to be not aware of this, so he was surprised. It was said that, while the actress is not doing anything to stop her ex-husband from visiting the kids -- Maddox, 17, Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, Shiloh, 12, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 10, she will only bring them back to Los Angeles whenever she wants. In other words, it is possible that Brad may not see them for a long time, and he does not even know when they will see each other again next.
Jolie was said to have taken advantage of having to work in Albuquerque, New Mexico and “flee with her kids” without letting Pitt know. “He knew Angie had this project coming up, but thought she’d be coming back most weekends,” the source said. “It’s such a kick in the teeth for Brad, and the hired helpers get to see his kids way more than he does.”
Gossip Cop refuted this report by stating that the tipster for this story is possibly non-existent and was only provided to make the news look credible. The publication also pointed out that Brad’s visitation schedules worked out well before Angelina started filming in New Mexico for her new movie. It was added that the actress did not flee with the kids behind the actor’s back.
The truth is, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are in good terms, and both of them already worked things out with regards to custody schedule and everything was done legally. The two of them agreed on the rules, and everything is working well so far in their arrangement.
