Today, February 15, is her first day on the job where she will be responsible for setting strategy, directing management operations, client relations, training, business development, strategic planning and leading local executive associates in the Carmel office and surrounding communities.

Byrd began her career in the community management industry more than 22 years ago and has been a professional portfolio manager of common interest communities for the past 17 years. Most recently she served as vice president at Associa Chicagoland in Illinois. One of the things she spearheaded was the community manager mentoring program for development of aspiring community managers. Byrd holds the designation of Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM), which is the highest designation a manager can obtain through the Community Associations Institute.
