Apple debuted its iPhone 15 Pro, featuring a titanium case, high-performance chip, and state-of-the-art camera. Maintaining last year's pricing, the lineup includes satellite connectivity and USB-C charging. The Pro model stands out with groundbreaking videography capabilities.

The tech giant's latest lineup comprises the iPhone 15, starting at $799, and the iPhone 15 Plus, starting at $899. Notably, Apple decided not to raise prices during this challenging period in the smartphone market.

For the Pro series, prices begin at $999, while the Pro Max model starts at $1,199, with unchanged rates from last year's offerings. Both variants boast brighter displays, a 48-megapixel camera, and 100% recycled cobalt batteries.

During the launch event at Apple's headquarters in Cupertino, California, the tech giant announced that the iPhone 15 will feature satellite connectivity to enable convenient roadside assistance. For this feature, it partnered with the American Automobile Association (AAA) within the United States.

The iPhone 15 and AirPods Pro charging case will also support USB-C charging cables, aligning with the existing charging cables used for iPads and Macs. The iPhone 15 series showcases the A16 Bionic chip, which previously powered the iPhone 14 Pro, ensuring seamless performance and responsiveness.

As anticipated, the announcements aligned with market expectations. However, Apple's shares declined by 1.7% within the first hour of the event.

Apple also revealed significant camera advancements for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, the company's largest phone, with an improved camera lens offering extended optical zoom capabilities. Employing a series of prisms, the innovative lens emulates the functionality of a longer lens.

Additionally, Apple leveraged machine learning to enable users to transform regular images into stunning portraits instantaneously.

Moreover, the new USB-C connector on iPhone 15 Pro models permits professional videographers to record high-quality videos directly to external hard drives. Consequently, the USB-C connector simplifies the use of the device as a dedicated video camera.

Apple further demonstrated the iPhone 15 Pro's ability to capture "spatial videos" utilizing its dual cameras. These videos would be compatible with the forthcoming Vision Pro headset scheduled for early next year.
