CHICAGO, Oct. 03, 2017 -- iManage, the company dedicated to transforming how professionals work, today announced that Arent Fox LLP – one of one of the most diverse general practice law firms in the country with approximately 400 attorneys – has selected iManage to strengthen its overall security profile, all in the iManage Cloud.
Arent Fox will migrate its existing iManage Work implementation to the iManage Cloud and add two iManage cloud-based applications to protect critical client data. With iManage Security Policy Manager, the firm gains a scalable way to manage ethical walls, segment data and implement a “need-to-know” security model. And iManage Threat Manager creates a unique electronic thumbprint from historical data for each user to detect internal and external threat actors with the highest level of accuracy.
“Our firm likes to take a proactive approach to security,” said Ed Macnamara, Chief Technology Officer, Arent Fox. “We saw our selection of iManage Security Policy Manager and iManage Threat Manager as a way for us to proactively address any potential vulnerabilities around our data. Implementing these products in the iManage Cloud gives us tremendous flexibility while enjoying the benefits of a robust security platform.”
All applications will be deployed in the iManage Cloud providing the firm with comprehensive functionality delivered with rapid implementation and increased IT agility. Together, these products will enable Arent Fox to improve attorney productivity and take a holistic approach to defining & managing security policies and identifying malicious user behavior through an integrated solution. The firm expects to complete its implementation and go live within 60 days.
“Firms like Arent Fox recognize the importance of protecting against today’s modern security challenges like phishing and insider threats and meeting increasing client demands for need-to-know security,” said Dan Carmel, Chief Marketing Officer, iManage. “By moving to the iManage Cloud, Arent Fox will gain business agility, scalability and the legal industry’s best cloud uptime while meeting the security challenges of the current threat landscape head-on, with confidence and convenience.”
