Asian markets in red, gold hovers around $1,160 mark

All the major Asian indices were trading on a lower note on the start of a new week. Gold was trading around $1,160 mark as well as silver was trading around $16.84 marks.  

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.07 percent lower at 2,023.37 points.

Tokyo's Nikkei was trading 0.51 percent higher at 19,094.22 points.

Shanghai composite index to open flat at 3,233.67 points and China's CSI300 index to open down 0.1 pct at 3,489.27 points.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading 1.16 percent lower at 22,496.00 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.14 percent higher at 5,568.52 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.52 percent lower at 8,218.25 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.47 percent lower at 26,621.27 points.
