Asian markets marginally higher, gold steady above $1,212

All the major Asian indices were trading on a higher note on Tuesday. On the other side, gold and silver were also higher in early hours of Asia. Gold was trading around $1,217 and silver was trading around $16.80 marks.

South Korea’s Kospi was trading 0.88 percent higher at 1,984.36 points.

Tokyo's Nikkei was trading 0.20 percent higher at 18,142.58 points.

Shanghai composite index to open up 0.1 pct at 3,220.98 points and China's CSI300 index to open up 0.1 pct at 3,443.22 points.

Hong Kong's Hang Seng was trading 1.36 percent higher at 22,661.00 points.

Australia's S&P/ASX 200 was trading 1.33 percent higher at 5,422.60 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.54 percent higher at 7,971.90 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.39 percent higher at 25,866.28 points.
