Asian markets mixed, silver jumps above $18.00 mark

All the major Asian markets were trading on a mixed note on last trading day of the week. Gold was trading around $1,355 mark and silver was trading around $18.15 mark.

Japan’s Nikkei was trading 0.72 pct lower at 19,256.50 points.

Hong Kong’s Hang seng was trading 0.41 percent higher at 27,623.29 points.

Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 was trading 0.40 pct lower at 5,667.30 points.

Shanghai composite index to open flat at 3,364.43 points and China's CSI300 index to open flat at 3,830.07 points.

Taiwan stock was trading around 0.50 pct higher at 10,592.88 points.

India’s NSE Nifty was trading around 0.16 percent higher at 9,946.15 points and BSE Sensex was trading at 0.07 percent higher at 31,684.97 points.

South Korea’s kospi was trading 0.16 percent lower at 2,342.83 points.
