Chantilly, VA, Oct. 10, 2017 -- Associa Community Management Corporation (CMC), Legum & Norman (L&N) and Select Community Services (SCS) hosted their 10th annual vendor fair to help raise money for Associa’s non-profit, Associa Cares. The event was held at The National Conference Center in Lansdowne, VA.
The fair brought out more than 250 vendors, representing 97 local companies. Approximately 232 CMC, L&N and SCS employees attended. This year’s event raised $269,250, bringing the 10 year total to more than $2.3 million to help support those impacted by natural or man-made disasters.
Patrick Brensinger, Associa president and chief operating officer, hosted the opening ceremony, which was followed by an industry networking session, allowing local vendors to meet and greet with Associa employees and management. The event was concluded with a door prize raffle and social hour.
“We host the vendor fair every year to raise money for Associa Cares, but following the hurricanes and tropical storms that have hit this summer, it is more important than ever to help those in need as much as we can,” stated Nick Mazzarella, CMC president. “All of our employees, from three different branches, volunteered their time to make this event a success. We are extremely happy with the turn out and the impressive amount of money that was raised for the organization. We want to thank our vendors, business partners and all of our attendees for making this an event to remember.”
