“Attack on Titan” season 3 episode 8’s title “Outside the Walls of Orvud District” pretty much describes what is going to happen next in the anime series. One possible plot is Historia saving the human population from Rod Reiss, who has turned into a titan.
Fans were treated to an action-packed episode 7 where Squad Levi finally rescued Eren and Historia. Aside from the thrilling fighting scenes, fans were also delighted to witness the brilliant strategies that led to the successful rescue mission. Luckily, the excitement continues in “Attack on Titan” season 3 episode 8.
As mentioned in the brief video trailer, Rod becomes a titan described in the manga as double the size of the Colossus Titan. Making matters worse, Rod has completely no control of the titan that crawled from under the earth’s surface. This is the ordeal that Eren, Historia, and the rest of the protagonists will be facing in “Attack on Titan” season 3 episode 8.
There are not many details revealed in the “Attack on Titan” season 3 episode 8 preview. But a quick review of the manga’s same-titled chapter 67 could give fans a lot of clues.
The main event in “Attack on Titan” season 3 episode 8 is likely going to start when Erwin convinces the Garrison commander to ditch all evacuation plans. They observe that the crawling titan is attracted to a dense population. They all agree that it is best to let the people stay within the wall as the soldiers face the crawling titan just outside the walls.
Amid all the chaos and threats the enormous titan brings in “Attack on Titan” season 3 episode 8, Historia might have a big decision to make. In the manga, Historia needed to choose whether to skip this battle and not fight his father in titan form or be the one to end the battle, eventually becoming the queen.
The “Attack on Titan” season 3 episode 8 preview hints at Eren’s big decision to make as well. This has likely something to do with forcing Rod to return to his human form. To do so, Eren might suggest getting himself eaten so Rod acquires the Founding Titan. Without any delays, “Attack on Titan” season 3 episode 8 is slated to air on Sept. 9.
