Events are about to get really hot in “Attack on Titan” Season 3 Part 2 where Mikasa and Eren might have to turn their backs against the Survey Corp. in order to save Armin. After a devastating attack by the enemy titans, Armin will be left with a fatal injury. This is where the characters will have to make a choice as to who to save and who to condemn to a future death.
The main mission that will bring the Survey Corp. all the way to the last remaining hole in the wall is to plug it up using the hardening ability of Eren, OtakuKart reports. This is intended to make sure that no titan makes it through again. However, as fans might have already sensed, this is a completely pointless endeavor. “Attack on Titan” Season 3 Part 2 will show exactly why.
Basically, thanks to the abilities of the Beast Titan, there is no need to let other titans from the outside get in through a hole. The person behind the beast can simply make as many as he wants using the people already behind the walls. This makes the mission in “Attack on Titan” Season 3 Part 2 a fruitless endeavor.
This will also make the sacrifices made during the attack quite the waste. A fact made even sadder by the fact that it will lead to a conflict between Mikasa, Eren, and Levi. The two want to save Armin while Levi wants to save his leader. This decision will have considerable implications that go beyond “Attack on Titan” Season 3 Part 2.
By the time “Attack on Titan” Season 3 Part 2 ends, viewers will be treated to a revelation that will make everything that happened since the first season seems like a pointless struggle. They will see this soon enough when the first episode airs on April 29.
