“Awkward” is about to come to its season 5 finale where Jenna will exhibit a startling excitement at the prospect of going to SCU. Matty will make an attempt to tell Jenna how he feels even though he knows that Luke is still in the picture, and Tamara’s financial difficulties are clearly giving her a hard time.
In an article by Hollywood Hills covering the new trailer released by MTV for episodes 23 and 24 of “Akward” season 5, Jenna’s mother Lacey is having a hard time understanding why her daughter is suddenly so gung-ho about going to SCU. Lacey also decided that encouraging Matty to tell Jenna what he really feels is a good idea, otherwise Jenna will end up with Luke for good; well, not that relationships in this show are ever guaranteed.
Meanwhile, it seems that Tamara will finally admit that she is broke. Will a solution to her problem present itself in the end?
In the official synopsis for the finale, it seems that Luke is the one that arranged for a meeting which has Jenna so excited to go to SCU. However, Jenna will also be presented with the dilemma of having to choose between said meeting and a reunion at Camp Pookah. It seems that Jenna will end up going to the latter though, where she will have to make a choice between Luke and Matty.
In the previous episode, Jenna was reunited with former lover Matty after having a fight with her current boyfriend, Luke. The pair was found by Luke at Camp Pookah, as mentioned by the International Business Time’s spoiler article, where both were clearly drunk and being quite intimate with each other.
The titles for the two-part finale are “Second Chances” and “Happy Campers, Happy Trails” respectively. They will air on May 24 on MTV.
