BTS has been confirmed to attend the 2020 The Fact Music Awards. The event was supposed to take place in March but it was canceled when the coronavirus pandemic halted all the activities in the entertainment business around the world.
New music award for the Bangtan Boys
As per Newsen, the organizers of the said music award officially announced the participation of BTS on the occasion that will be held in December. And to help prevent the spread of the highly contagious disease, the ceremony would be held virtually. Thus, fans can watch it anywhere online.
It was added that BTS won the grand prize in The Fact Music Awards last year. This year, the boy group is taking home a total of four awards. The winners have already been announced in March so what is left is the actual awarding ceremony.
BTS drama cast lineup revealed
Meanwhile, the BTS-universe drama titled “Youth” is already done picking out actors for its cast lineup. This week, the names have been unveiled and as per Allkpop, the actors who will play RM, Jungkook, V, Jimin, Jin, J-Hope and Suga are Seo Ji Hoon, Jeon Jin Seo, Noh Jong Hyun, Ahn Ji Ho, Seo Young Joo, Jung Woo Jin and Kim Yoon Woo.
In the “Youth” BTS drama, Jimin's character will act as someone who was severely traumatized as a child while Jungkook is a boy who doesn’t care about his well-being. Whether he lives or dies, he just doesn’t care anymore.
For V, he is forced to live with his alcoholic father while his mother is a runaway folk. It is obvious that life is hard for him as well.
BTS Jin is from a rich family, he is the son of a congressman and it frustrates him that people only know him as the son of a politician rather than who he really is. J-Hope is an abandoned child but he never loses hope and always optimistic about everything.
RM is still young but he is very mature for his age. Despite having part-time jobs, he managed to keep his grades up and even ranks 1 in his school. Finally, Suga's character has sort of a bad boy image. There are rumors he burned their own house and killed his mother too.
This BTS drama has no release date yet but a mid-2021 premiere is likely.
