One of PlatinumGames’ undeniable gems, Bayonetta is one of those video game titles that everyone simply needed to have but couldn’t because it was exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360. Since its original release in 2009, many were still hoping for a PC port at some point and back in April 1st, Sega got people’s hopes up when it released an 8-bit version of the Bayonetta game on Steam. The company followed that up by launching the full game today.

When gamers go over to Steam, they will find that one of the most coveted titles in the video game industry has finally arrived on the PC. Although it was just released, it is already garnering considerable praise from the community, with many remarking how well the porting was done. There were barely any issues brought up and it has a 4K resolution as well.

The version of the game available at the retail site is “Bayonetta Digital Deluxe Edition,” which comes with the base game, digital OST Sampler and Art Book, wallpapers, and avatars. The minimum specs to play the game have been released as well, with 4GB of RAM and Radeon HD6950 / GeForce GTX 570 for the GPU.

In terms of the game itself, the biggest difference is definitely the resolution, where players can finally see what beating up demons and angels look like in 4K, Mashable notes. Bayonetta also got a boost in frame rate, with the game reaching 60fps now.

Players can also choose to play the game with the English-dub or the original Japanese voiceover with English subtitles. Other than those changes, the game still features slick action, fast-paced combat, and the stylistic titular character herself who has the deadliest head of hair in the universe.

What really makes this release special, however, is the fact that it only costs $20. That is practically a steal, considering that it has never made it to the PC in any official capacity before and it still plays as well as looks amazingly good despite its age.
