The fourth season of CW’s “Beauty And The Beast” will premiere on June 2 and it seems like it will begin with a blissfully peaceful post-wedding scenario. As is natural with dramas though, things might not go as smoothly as the protagonists are hoping for, but that’s not the news that fans are really focusing on. Will the next season really be exciting when the fairy tale ends? It seems so.
The end of the CW drama has been set since October 2015. Poor ratings performance since season 2 has been the main issue according to a 2015 article by Variety. Supposedly, season 3 was a shaky proposition because of this and the terrible performance of the premiere episode for that season was a turning point for the executives.
New photos of the show have recently been released and in them, we see Kristin Kreuk’s character wearing an engagement ring and a wedding band; evidently, it depicts the newlyweds enjoying their honeymoon. It seems that the couple will finally have some measure of peace before they have to go back to the real world.
According to the official synopsis released for the premiere episode titled “Monsieur et Madame Bete,” the real world is about to get grizzly: “Vincent (Jay Ryan) and Cat’s (Kristin Kreuk) wedded bliss comes to a halt when they learn from J.T. (Austin Basis) that someone is trying to expose the identities of beasts. While on the hunt to find out who is behind the threat, Tess (Nina Lisandrello) is reluctant to help since they are all trying to move forward with an attempt at normal lives. Nicole Gale Anderson also stars.”
Now, the goal of every fairy tale story no matter how modernized the plot has become, is to give the characters a happily ever after. Will this actually happen for Vincent and Cat? Viewers will need to watch the June 2 season premiere of “Beauty And The Beast” season 4 on CW to find out.
