Dextra would expand Bekaert’s Sustainable Construction range through a planned purchase carrying €140 million in enterprise value, adding reinforcement solutions as the group strengthens its engineering position.

Bekaert said it had entered into an agreement to buy Dextra, a supplier of reinforcement solutions for sustainable construction. The company said the acquisition would add complementary solutions to its Sustainable Construction business and reinforce its position in advanced materials and engineering.

Bekaert expects to complete the acquisition in the first half of 2027, pending required regulatory approvals and other closing conditions.

Bekaert CEO Olivier Biebuyck and CFO Seppo Parvi are scheduled to host a call for analysts and investors at 9 a.m. EST Nov. 5. The presentation will be available live after registration and on Bekaert’s website following the event.
