Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez were once together and they even almost got married at one point. The couple broke their engagement in 2004 and it happened just before their wedding. The latter later married Marc Anthony and the “Justice League” actor tied the knot with Jennifer Garner.
Now, it was said that after more than two decades and they are now divorced from their spouses, it was said that Ben Affleck wants Jennifer Lopez back. The 46-year-old actor was said to have started contacting his ex-fiancee again in September - after completing his treatment at a rehab.
However, according to National Enquirer (via Gossip Cop), J. Lo has not forgiven her ex yet for their breakup in 2004. The source supposedly told the tabloid, “Ben’s grasping at straws because Jen has never looked back since he left her.”
The tipster added that Ben Affleck has no room in Jennifer’s life anymore and said that “He’s yesterday’s news.” The paper further claimed that it appears that Jennifer Garner’s ex-husband is trying to break up Jen and Alex Rodriguez’s relationship since that is the only way to get his ex back.
Naughty Gossip also collaborated with this story and stated that a source told them it is true that Ben wants to reconcile with J. Lo. In fact, it claimed that the former has been calling Alex Rodriguez’s current girlfriend and begging her to meet up with him.
“She wants to be a good friend but is not interested in dating Ben again. She knows he is a troubled man and wants no part of it,” an insider supposedly told Naughty Gossip in an exclusive interview. “What he did to Jennifer Garner was bad. She wouldn’t meet with Ben even at a private house, it’s not going to happen.”
Gossip Cop is debunking these reports after it contacted someone who has knowledge of the situation. The insider who talked with the fact-checking site issued a statement but requested not to be identified in the report.
The source said that Ben Affleck has no intention of getting back together with Jennifer Lopez. The rumor is ridiculous and the actor is definitely not pursuing the “El Anillo” singer. In short, the reports are just fabricated narratives.
