Bitcoin Dips Below $76,000 Amidst ETF Outflows and Technical Signals

Following the Clarity Act failure in Congress, BTCUSD fell under $75000. It hit a low of $74913 and is currently trading near $76162.

With about $450 million (ranging from $289–450 million depending on data source) pulled after the Senate's rejection of the CLARITY Act on September 15th, spot Bitcoin ETFs had their biggest outflows since late June. Led by large companies like Fidelity's FBTC and BlackRock's IBIT, along with Grayscale's GBTC, these significant redemptions wiped out recent inflows and helped to drive Bitcoin below $76,000. Rising Treasury yields and policy dissatisfaction, together with a larger market de-risking into macro headwinds, drove the outflows as institutional investors reduced exposure via the most liquid crypto vehicle amid increased regulatory uncertainty.
