‘Black Widow’ Update: Scarlett Johansson’s Marvel Flick Reportedly Begins Filming

Black Widow

“Black Widow” is one of the characters in “Avengers: Endgame” and in the movie, she sacrificed herself to bring back half of the world. Although she died, a standalone film about her is in production, but an official announcement about this has yet to come.

In the latest update, it was said that “Black Widow” has entered the filming phase already. This was not announced or published in the papers but rather, someone accidentally found the filming site and spilled the beans on social media. A person with the handle name of Stuart on Twitter wrote that he does not follow the Marvel movies, but he saw them filming Scarlett Johansson’s movie in Black Park which sits just next to Pinewood Studios in the U.K.

Stuart said that all the signs he saw point to the fact that “Blak Widow” is currently being filmed

In Buckinghamshire. “There is also some ‘Central Park’ signage that I don't have a picture of, so Central Park in the #BlackWidow movie is actually in Buckinghamshire,” one of his tweets reads.

But then again, he said that someone told him that it was “Morbius” that is being filmed there while others say that it is really “Black Widow” so he sort of unsure now. So far, Marvel Studios has not confirmed about any ongoing filming for Scarlett Johansson’s movie.

Meanwhile, it was reported that “Avengers: Endgame” paved the way for the “Black Widow” movie. In an interview on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, Joe Russo talked about the Endgame and eventually revealed something about Johansson’s film.

During the podcast, he tries to avoid mentioning the “Black Widow” movie, but he failed when he said that Endgame started the story that must be continued in the prequel. "It's putting seeds in to fulfill our story, and that's what we do in the Marvel Universe is someone comes in, and they pick up the threads, right, but there isn't,” he said.

The director added, “The grand plan is always 'we have a loose idea of where we can go here,' but if you spend a lot of energy thinking about where it goes in the future you're gonna miss the opportunities that are in front of you in the present.”

With that said, it will be interesting to see how they will bring back “Black Widow” when she already died in “Avengers: Endgame.” Perhaps, a flashback or through her backstory? Everyone should wait for it to arrive to confirm!
